We support a variety of clients from non-profit organizations to start-up businesses to well-established companies and have the ability to work on any topic, such as medical, educational, technology, healthcare or environment.
Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Grants
Amala Consulting has considerable experience with SBIRs and have worked on a variety of the offering agencies, such as the National Institute of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of Education (ED), and the Department of Defense (DOD). We have worked on 25 SBIR applications - 9 awarded and 3 under review. Amala Consulting works with the SUNY Albany Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to provide their clients with grant writing services.

Other Federal Grants
Amala Consulting has worked with clients on other federal grants, including the organization and writing of a $350,000 USDA grant proposal that was ranked #1 nationally, and a $285,000 SAMHSA grant proposal.
New York State Grants
Amala Consulting has helped our clients to develop and submit proposals for various New York State agencies, such as the the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA), New York State Office of Mental Health, the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (DDPC) and the New York State Department of Health (NYDOH).
