Sarah Parks, PhD, Ecological Economics
President and founder: Sarah Parks specializes in GIS analysis, ecosystem services valuation, grant writing, project management, capacity building and report writing for various audiences. Sarah has been working as a consultant for over 10 years. To name a few, her clients have included: United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Thailand, The Chazen Companies, La Bella Associates, Rensselaer Plateau Alliance (RPA), Rensselaer Land Trust (RLT), and research groups at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). She received her PhD in Ecological Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2012, and her M.S. in Ecological Economics, Values and Policy in 2007. In the past, she has worked for the U.S. Forest Service, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), Environmental Advocates of New York, and the Vineyard Conservation Society.
Erin Lennox, PhD, Ecological Economics
Erin Lennox specializes in participatory rural appraisal, grant writing, technical writing, and K-12 STEM education. Erin earned her PhD in Ecological Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2014, where she investigated climate change impacts on smallholder farmers in Latin America. She also holds a masters and bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently serves as the director of projects for the organization Engineers for a Sustainable World, and is a board member of the US Society for Ecological Economics. She has previously worked for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and consulted for the Foundation for Developing of Sustainable Societies (FDSS).
